Instana is looking for a Customer Success Manager (CSM) who will focus on enabling value realization for assigned accounts. The CSM onboards accounts and provides training for new users and on new features through regular check-in calls. The CSM recognizes and reports on obstacles to success and works closely with internal teams to help customers overcome them.

Areas of Responsibility Include:

  • Provide onboarding assistance through calls and customer meetings
  • Educate customers to help them become Instana experts
  • Drive adoption and business goal attainment
  • Alert internally if customers are not meeting goals and develop a plan to rectify
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communications, visits and ticket monitoring.

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Technical background and customer orientation
  • Experience with Application Performance Management (APM)
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Java, .Net, Ruby, C, Python
  • Experience with Linux
  • Knowledge of containers and microservice application architecture and networking
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to Travel Internationally up to 25%

BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
